Hello Doctor. It is very interesting how you go about making diagnoses of soil conditions. It seems a medical approach true and through ;-)
I started my life on the land some 20 years ago. My land was selected on location (close to town, school, hospital, etc), price and native plants. I began my land fertilizing program with chickens and ducks (I now realize that there are enough wildlife to do the job). I let native trees and plants grow their ways. I only have a small area for vegetables garden and exotic trees (around the house). I have fun learning, doing, experiencing and just watching things unfold. Nature has amazing ways to work things out (just like our bodies have amazing ways to heal themselves). Nature ways often best, free, silently, least energy cost, and satisfying many involved parties (stake-holders) all at the same time. But I admit that I have to adjust my goal and my expectations, In another word I am learning more about "my" greed (lobha).
;-)
