Hi and back in front of the class to explain the comment ;-)
I am doing exercises for some 30 minutes (nearly) everyday to keep fit or to ensure that I can still use various parts of my body as expected of them. I also randomly go into rigorous (burst) mode for a minute 5-6 time during my exercises just to kid myself that if I need to I can still react very quickly and strongly. I think keeping fit can keep me away from seeing doctors and other healthcare providers. Many times in the past I had waited to see them. The public healthcare systems in Australia is quite good but it is overwhelmed with demands and often we are put on waiting lists for months.
When I wrote "...to save time (not in doing exercises but the time waiting for healthcare services ;-) and in hope of extending my (life) time..." I meant simply that I would rather spend time doing exercises to save me waiting (time) for healthcare service. To put in in other words I think we should not save time in doing exercises but we should save time with health service. To me. the time saved in doing exercises may be a false economy!
But for some people, time is money and money is worth more than health and happiness. Each of us has a personal mix or balance. So be it!
