I see the utopians society in a lot of goals. But I have learned rises and falls of civilizations (or utopians societies/empires) under many frameworks. I don't think developments in 21C would be any diferent.

The problems that trouble all societies are things like "Measurement", Fairness and Equality. We don't have a way to measure X (whatever we can think of) that is fair and equal to all. How could we say we are better or worse without (accepted) 'measurement'? How could reward achievements without comparisons of (measured) achievements (with/without considerations for wealth measurement)? How could we disregard differences in gender, race, language, profession, past experience/environment,...?

If we can come up with a good measure then wecan go forth fast.
