I have read a lot of your posts. Some I think are great, some are very provocative but quite insightful, some I don't like nor agree with. Many posts I do accept the points in focus but I cannot click a "like" because of the language used -- I am not comfortable with strong and devisive languages. (Though I can be blunt and honestly direct.) In my thinking, people are people -- some do bad things in bad circumstances and some do extraordinary things in extraordinary circumstances. Deep down most people are decent enough to live with and whether we like it or not we have to -- morally and legally tolerate a lot of differences. Not all people are in the defence forces and must bear derogatory remarks. But I am not speaking for everyone.
As for me, I don't get a lot of readers either. I have been posting for some 8 years. (If there is a "true grit" medal, I should qualify.) But why do I write here? I am recording and sharing my learning, my thoughts and my "style of changing the world". It is enough for me to share ideas and observations (not necessary 'mine'. even if I seem to mention them first, they belong to the world. People may use them whichever way they want.) Yes, I do have visions and I do set barriers and channels (for flows of thoughts) into a certain way I think 'best'. But I have raised children, animals, plants and businesses to accept their ways, their differences and their wills. Yes. I do get frustrated that they don't come along 'my best way' but at end of day I am thankful that we all survive to adapt do each other better the next day.
A nation (any nation) needs many kinds of things, many kinds of people and many ways to become a nation. There will be struggles against what we dislike and for what we like until such time that we can no longer bother about these waves washing beaches anymore. (I gave up "facebook" because it is a very "noisy" place -- I could not hear myself thinking ;-)
Thank you for sharing your originals and insights. May peace follow you whereever you go. You know if and when you return, we will receive you as a lost member who comes home to the (G2K) tribe.
