I had some thoughts about cobverting to diesel engines to run on gas. I even thought about injecting "hot water spray" with gas to help control combustion and to get extra steam-power at the same time. (Funny thing is I had in mind applications in ships or aquatic environment, where exhaust steam can be used to muffle the engine noises too ;-)

But, it is one of those things, that benefits "wealthy people" than "poor people". So, I spend more time on "hand rice mill", "hand cassava mill", ... (100% earth-friendly -- energywise).

BTW. Getting gas by fracking may be more "earth destroying" than its low CO2 benefits. Using more gas may be a shorter path to comtaminating soils and waters than what we realize.
