As a runner to another. Check the soles of your (running) shoes often. The wear marks can tell if you're distributing your weight and 'impact points' well (not too much on one foot or one side of the foot or over toeing ... even wear about 2 inches from the tip of the toes is good). Good running posture helps to prevent bad posture habit and nagging sores and other pains. ;-)
