So, in this view Life is a duration of interactions (or connection).

Life is assumed (in computer science thinking) to have a clearly defined 'body'; an 'ability to response to external change'; and an ability to 'reproduce' (propagate). And a somewhat questionable ability to grow up, grow old and die. In this way 'life' is an entity (not duration of time) with certain abilities, living (and dying) in a duration of time.
