2) Some students are using extra-class as excuses to go out to see friends at shopping centres rather than to do homework at home. (Are your kids in this group? Check it out!)

There are some complications such as security and privacy for both monks (who should have a sanctuary for meditation) and 'clients' (paying in money and in work). We don't really want 'wat' to be a place where uncared people are left to live (like unwanted dogs and cats) on surplus of monks' alms.

[I had spent a night on the floor of the funeral pavilion at Wat Ban Tad (วัดบ้านตาด นครพนม - where the cremation of หลวงตามหาบัว took place) and saw many types of people who came to stay the night. Many areas of work and organization are to be learned and implemented before that would be a suitable hospice. Experience from Christian organizations may of some use. One major concern I had was about epidemic disease control -- many people coughed all night.]
