It took me a few minutes to work this out :
"...ศาสนาพุทธสอนด้วยคำเชิงลบ เพราะไม่ได้สอนให้แสวงหาความสุขนิรันดร์เหมือนศาสนาอื่น แต่กลับสอนให้ขจัดทุกข์ให้สิ้น ซึ่งถ้านิยามความทุกข์ตามนิยามผม ดังนั้นวิธีการหมดทุกข์ ก็คือ ปลดแรงกระทำทุกรูปแบบออกไปให้สิ้น..."

(I think) I agree with the saying Buddhism is about getting rid of pain -- not about getting hold of pleasure.

But clearing all (physical) "forces" (acting/reacting) on things is impossible unless there is "nothing" (so nuclear/atomic forces among particles, even gravity on matter are not there). Because Man (or people) are (physical) things, your hypothesis says (more or less) the goal of Buddhists is impossible. The law of Physics (made famous by Newton) here denies "complete unattachment to other things".

The question remains Is "citta" a (physical) thing?.

Prof. Vicharn Panich's ศาสตร์แห่งสวรรค์ refers to another (non-physical?) entity "viññāṇa" (วิญญาณ in Thai sense; 'consciousness' in Pāli/Buddhist sense).

I don't have any answer or suggestion -- I don't know!
