My dragon fruit (Pitaya) flowers open after dark round about 8:30-9:00PM (around Xmas and New Year). The bees are asleep then. Bees do come round again in the morning after but the flowers are withering and about to collapse and close all access to the nectar. I think dragon fruits work with night moths. I don't know yet what kinds of moths. I have to hand pollinate my dragon fruits.
Thailand varieties must be different.
