A beautifully written story. The pictures show amazing contrasts and make me wonder -- The first picture (of a little shrine with a grassy path leading it) suggests that no many people have used the path or the area. (No mud would be on shoes ;-) Then the picture of a little hut in a wooded area (mud on shoes) suggests that many people have used the area -- that why the grasses and weeds have been cleared.

So not many people fo to that shrine (or place of worship) but they do go to a place for meditation (or resting hut) a lot more. Ummmh?
