History of lottery in countries around the world is very like this -- they also used lotteries to raise money. Time and time again, people cannot see beyond the winning prizes. They cannot see that lotteries are to raise money for someone else.

A few win some prizes, the rest lose their hard earned money and for some also family and future. Lottery is an evil antisocial device. Society is better without it!
