I had many issues on "advanced brains forum" on my mind for some time now. Eg.
1) There are a lot of pensioners in Thailand who spend time (and money) travelling the world. They too have a lot to offer. They can actually form "organizations for advanced Thais" and offer services (for no profit).
2) There are many "kinds" of golden oldies. Some see the light and behave lile good Buddhists; some are easy to get along and some some are egotists or bigots -- difficult to see any light. Apart from varying medical conditions, there are varying self-indulgent habits that may be difficult for Thais to understand and tolerate. It is a "safety" aspect for "advanced brains". Safety for them (attack/mugging, food, language, transport,...) and safety for Thais (sex-abuse, envy, insult/debasement, language, religious/cultural infringement,...)
3) There must be a form of 'go between' moderation/management of contacts/interfaces and quality-assurance measure feedback to improve relations. Perhaps "friendship homes for advanced brains" (in the same line as exchange students programs like AFS, JFS,..,) programs to learn about different cultures and differences and finding acceptable "ways to normalize conflicts" (not all oldies are scientists or open-minded). I think some preparations are needed -- we can't just "build homes" and invite them in.
...
Can we set up a "forum" (in G2K) to collect ideas and discuss issues on this?
