Many fresh water fish spawn when water temperature warms up (after cold winter period).

So round about now, these fish would be feeding for the spawn. They are usually caught in pairs.

and also her mate, so they can make babies.

Perhaps better time to catch fish is between June-October (flooding season) when they are big enough to go into 'open rivers' and fields -- to colonize new teritories --.

But leave some for our children ;-)
