Daw Thida Han

  • How can you set up strategy plan for destinations in Thailand?

Mrs. Thannitta Svetsila Maneechote, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Tourism and Sports

  • We cannot put all budgets. We have policy that province can propose budget to the government.
  • Province with limited tourism opportunity will get less budget.
  • We have our own budget for each province but our committee need to approve.
  • We have to select each tourism site.
  • If target is high and have 2 million million Bahts income within 4 years, organizations have to help this new tourism site.
  • We need to select quality of tourists.
  • We cannot expand personally according to the law.
