Years have gone by since I last joined a planning session using QFT. I had learned a few things.
In making/producing questions step, we may get a question like "why should I care about ... (the subject/focus/prompt)?", "Do we have an time/example/evidence/support/resources for this? ...
And in the prioritization step: out of class, in a multiple-stakeholders 'session', questions can be prioritized to fit certain/influential demands better. (In such environment, open and candid reflection is a joke ;-)
That is QFT process when applied in complex settings can be delayed and hijacked or manipulated for preferred outcomes. In class rooms, the process itself is worth learning and practicing for learners' benefit.

By the way, do you have a 'standard' result to compare with QFT result? Use QFT to evaluate the use of QFT?
