When I was doing an undergrad course, complete meal-in-one-pot (actually a rice cooker) was my solution for cheap, nutritious food.

And todays, we find that we don't care much for elaborate meals or cooking, washing and ...

We come back to one-pot meals

(for a few days when weather permits

ie. in Winter a pot could be 3-4 meals,

in Summer only 1 meal -- because bacterial growth is hard to control and refrigerating is really a waste of energy.)
