ลักษณะที่เป็นบ่อปิด น้ำซึมไม่ได้และไม่มีการเติมอากาศ ทำให้ภายในบ่อเกรอะไร้อากาศ (Anaerobic) กากตะกอนหลังย่อยเกิดขึ้นราว 1 ลิตร/คน/วัน...ถ้ามีกรดหรือด่างเข้มข้น น้ำยาล้างห้องน้ำเข้มข้น คลอรีนเข้มข้น ไหลลงในบ่อเกรอะ ประสิทธิภาพในการทำงานของบ่อจะลดลงไปอีก..."

I have two rest ponds to trap scum and debris before letting water into the main dam. I have to make oily deposit into soap (with lime) and dig out the scum and debris frequently. Amazing how much oil can get washed from the roads into dams. Some time a flood or a high intensity rain would push everything from the rest ponds into the main dam.

I wonder how you would deal with maintenance of the rest pond and what get deposited in rest pond. Some deposits may be hazardous.

The work is never done!
