Two things I would like to make clear:

1) "Prof. Sr" is not a correct way to address me ;-) . I am not 'officially' in a teaching profession and have no claim to such title. 'SR' is my 'initials' (firstname and surname). I have been scribbling 'sr' on documents for 'yonks' (since the days in public service).

2) You've got the idea of 'snob meter'.

My nearest town sports 4 opshops, 2 with mostly local contents and the others with wider regional contents.

By 'contents' I mean 'pre-used things' ;-)

The local opshops have lot of old (fashion) clothes, old crockeries, cutleries and utensils. Lots of antiques.

The regional opshops have furniture, books, electricals, toys, gadgets and more 'modern' things.

You can tell what the demography of this town is like, can't you? ;-)
