First of all, I would like to thanks Professor Dr. Chira for encouraging me to write in English. We all know that English is very important for Doctoral level but we lack confidence to use English in our daily life. Before reading your book – HR Champions, I’m not sure that I would be able to write this assignment in English as you suggested but this book changed my mind after I finished reading it. As you said in the book, humans are the most important capital in an organization. To be the “champion”, I need to start to improve my writing skill.

HR Champions is a very useful book for people who are interested in Human Resources. In order to make a critical analysis of this book, I am quite nervous because of my HR knowledge limitation; however, those limitations provide me the opportunity to give some personal points of view as the following:

1. The story of two champs - The story of Dr.Chira and Khun Paron is very inspiring for the reader. Learning is the key success factor for both of them. Social background however, is a factor that influences their levels of success. Dr. Chira and Khun Paron are from upper class families with access to knowledge, higher education, and money. However, they are still enthusiastic in finding knowledge and always try to develop their capacity for HRM. At this point, I’m very curious about how to make people who are from lower social backgrounds to have a positive attitude toward learning. It would be interesting if Dr.Chira write the book to encourage and inspire them.

In this part, there is a minor mistake at the end of Chapter 1 in the top of the comparison table. There are two 4 L’s with Khun Paron’s name, when one should be for Dr. Chira.

2. 8 K’s and 5 K’s Theory – Both theories are key for developing human resources. This book describes them briefly. However, I would like to know more detail.

3. It would be very helpful for the reader who wants to know more about human resources if the author recommended other books relating to “ HR – Champions”

The benefits from the book are very high because the reader comes to know about the key points and topics of Human Resource Management.
