"...บางครั้ง อาจต้องใช้ภาพเพื่อสื่อความ แต่ก็ต้องคำนึงถึงผู้ใช้ การใช้ภาพผสมกับข้อความอธิบายสั้นๆ อาจจะช่วยได้บ้าง..."

An old saying "a picture is worth a thousand words" comes from the the time when a painter (or drawer) had to spend many hundreds hours to make a picture; s/he would not waste their effort (time of her/his life) on "rubbish" picture.

Today, a picture is "one click" creation. A word is several seconds. We may have an opposite saying "a right word is worth several gigabytes of useless pictures".

For information engineers, pictures may not be ideal information representations: very poor information content/storage (or footprint) ratio, extremely difficult to index, thus search and make precise, many complex encode and decode procedures make pictures presentation both costly and wasteful (in most situations), ...

But, we are human. We take delight in using our eyes, ears, ... -- getting sensual stimuli-- we would waste time and world resources for a glimpse of sensation.

Don't worry. Be happy ;-)
