Hi ครูดาหลา

Wonderful to hear this * ครูดาหลาหายจากโรตกระเพาะ เพราะงดอาหารมื้อเย็นค่ะ และงดยาด้วยค่ะ from you.

Somehow, we focus strongly on citta (the mind) and not enough on ruupa (the body).

A (worldly?) happiness is when mind and body are in good balance ;-)

<Note>

The Buddha's Vinaya on 2 meals (good portion breakfast and full lunch) a day is a well-thought health regime. If practiced (with some exercises) may keep us in health and in shape.

The (rational) reason for 2 square meals (breakfast and lunch, but none or light soupy supper at evening) is this:

We work during the day, we need food (energy and regenerative materials) to keep our body running (like cars need fuel). At night we don't do much. So heavy dinner just gets fermented in our stomach and intestines --causing acid, high gas/wind-- but does not get used. Then most of the food gets stored (as sugar and fat --causing obesity--).

I do a lot of work sitting down at night. I often eat some fruits in the evening to supply food to the brain ;-)

This works for me. [You may find it useful for you too. ;-)]
