We are getting a bit serious into 'making people honest' ;-).

By Abrahamic religions, God is everwhere. He knows what 'you' do. 'You can't cheat and get away with 'corruption'.

Buddhists know about 'หิริ โอตัปปะ' (fear of doing wrong). We know what is honest and what is cheating or corruption. We can't escape our 'กรรม' (kamma).

Countries around the world have made into laws a 'freedom of information' act that allows citizens to get information on government and official (public service) actions (spending, decisions, agreemnets, etc) and to scrutinize the information to ensure 'accountibility'.

Accountibility is not only in our minds but must be supported by data. ;-)
