I see from the list (above) -- there are more points than fingers on a hand and they are not easy to remember.

An approach for 'control' of diabetic 'conditions' is

to eat like a monk:

good energy breakfast (carbohydrates), good meaty (proteins) lunch, but little or just vegetables and fruits for dinner; fresh fruits like oranges, pawpaws, apples, and 'carrots' [not really a fruit ;-) but just as nice] for snacks.

to work like a farmer:

good hard work in the morning; light (office, reading, writing, indoors) work in the afternoon; 30 minutes walking, light exercises (warm-up or warm-down, stretch-out) after 7PM (before bath time)

to sleep like a baby:

early to bed; meditate (or follow the breathing in-out) in bed; and early to rise.

I have good result from following this approach.
