"นกกินปลี อกเหลือง": Yellow-tufted Honey-eater
I am glad to read about your boy paying interest to what real world can offer.
Please prepare him for 'real life'. Almost all birds build a new nest every year to lay eggs, (sit and) hatch (for 3-4 weeks), raise (feed) the young chicks (for 3-4 weeks), teach the young birds to fly (for 1-2 days). Then the parent birds will dislodge (drop) the nest so that the young cannot return to the nest. That is the end of their parenthood program for a year. The same thing will happen again about the same time next year.
People build houses to last forever and keep parenthood on and on for decades. Birds have different ways of life and codes of living. Our children should learn about birds as they are ;-)
