Very interesting. We have "written" pronunciation tools and written tests (สมุดภาพฝึกทักษะในการอ่านออกเสียงคำศัพท์).

I have thought that "audio-visual tools" (those that give 'sounds' and 'pictures' of lips, tongue and teeth) would be good for learning to read and speak 'correctly'. You may have proven that we can just read text, imagine what words should sound like and learn to speak correctly. As far as I know even 'phonetic languages' fail because they cannot express all the 'qualities' (properties) of words correctly.
