I agree with Mark Winslow when mentioning about a 'safe space' ka, what I'd often call 'comfort zone'. In organizations, we need to feel safe enough to express our ideas freely. More often than not do we see leaders do most of the talking while their team members only nod (and complain later). Thai leaders might need to learn to be allowed to ask questions and then stop talking so as to listen more, dee mai ka? They need to admit that they don't know everything and from sharing, so many great ideas could emerge ka.
I couldn't help but talk with pride about my former team at the former international cooperation division, tabuang ka. It took time to urge them to 'dare to think' and to 'think out loud' but when people started feeling comfortable in meetings, we did achieve a whole lot and felt so rewarding with all the projects we did, even when we failed ka!
