I wonder if I understand the abbreviations correctly ;-)

คปก. = โครงการปริญญาเอกกาญจนาภิเษก ของ

สกว. = สำนักงานกองทุนสนับสนุนการวิจัย

สวทน. = สำนักงานคณะกรรมการนโยบายวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมแห่งชาติ

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer (make no-brand products for sale under brand name firms)

ODM = Original Design Manufacturer (design and make no-brand for brand name firms to sell)

OBM = Own Brand Manufacturer (design, make and sell own products eg. own-recipe food stalls)

It seems that we are a bit confused whether to support R&D by SME-size (turn over in THB1-10millions) or CP-size (turn over in THB 1billion-1trillion) concerns. The article suggests that only graduate researchers would be recognized but not local innovators or tinkerers. If Google and Facebook are among 'the' examples of OBM, we may need to change our attention and change our strategy ;-) .
