Thank you.

This is the best summary and example of an ecological agriculture practice.

I was born in a farming family but had gone into information technology profession and now returned to the land. I am working on adding water, micro-organisms and carbon reservoirs on my bush block. I have been growing fruits and vegetables among gum trees for several years now. I can only subsist on my land and my practice -- no commercial output ;-) . I can appreciate the need for families to build financial reservoir, to own land, build a house and raise a family. Any practice that would 'in general' produce this outcome, is the the practice of choice for the 'general' mass. But we know that land, water, life and time are limited and getting scarcer. The dream of owning a house in a little fertile farm is fading out day by day -- not only for Thais but for the whole world.

From somewhere, I learned "how to start a movement". The founder starts by showing around his idea and practice. A follower --the very first follower-- joins in and spread the idea and practice. Slowly, more followers join because it is not 'a crazy odd ball thing' anymore. Then the movement can speed up and spread quickly as it is now fashionable and those who sit on the fence watching feel left out...

We see that the seed (the founder+the first follower) is essential for the movement's birth and growth. Replication of the same movement in geographical locations gives strength and pooling of resources gives power. From there...

I think สคส is achieving replication and pooling despite the vast number of people still sitting on the fence.
