There's an "Occupations Finder" tools called Holland Codes - created by American psychologist John L. Holland.
Holland mapped career types into a hexagon and the broke down into the RIASEC job environments : "
Holland argues that 2-3 types dominate in each person.
I took the seminar - appropriately called - "Planning Your Retirement" - but it's more about career choice/design.
In a way, this is a self profiling - there are tons of questionnaire you have to go through - basically to cross check your answers - making sure you are who you said you are! I don't remember being honest on who I am. But, the test is pretty accurate :-)
In practice, you have to pay the counselor/carrer designer to take the test.
