Sutheera proposed SCOPUS data and h-index to be used for เพื่อการยกย่องผลงาน สู่ตำแหน่งวิชาการและการยกย่องอื่นๆ . These data bases are useful as we all know for many years now, but we will have to know their limitation including the pros and cons. Most importantly, as you had cautioned at the end of your article, one must use it with extreme care. I can name 20 or 30 “Thai researchers” with very high h-index and high citation - but when one looks at their works more closely one will find that - the high h-index and citation counts resulted from papers (corresponding) authored by their supervisors, “farangs”, and NOT by these researchers at all. etc. etc.

Life is not as simple as proposed by Sutheera krab.
