Congratulations for your realization that "learning" is more valuable than "teaching".

It is odd that we (children and adults alike) "love to learn", but all of us "hate to be taught". Why?

Maybe learning is active, constructive and challenging while "being taught" is passive, destructive and demeaning or making us feel small and stupid ;-).
