A Chest X ray

Technician    Good morning, sir(madam).

                       I would like to x ray your chest.

                       Please go to the changing room over there.

                       Please take off your shirt and put on this gown.

Patient           Okey I am ready now.

Technician    Come with me and stand right here, please.

                       Please press your chest against the X ray plate.

                       Please put your chin on the top.

                       Put the back of your hands on you waist.

                       Please take a deep breath and hold it.

                       Okay once more please.

                       Take a deep breath and hold it.

                       You can relax now.

                       Please put your shirt(blouse) back on. Go back

                       to the out patients section and wait for the results.

Patient           Thank you.

Technician     You're welcome.

 

An EKG

Nurse               Good morning, sir.I would like to take your EKG.

Patient              Why?

Nurse               It is to check your heart.

                        Please lie in your back.

                        I am going to put these electrodes on your body.

                        I am now going to attach them to the machine.

Patient            Will it be painful?

Nurse              Not at all.

Patient            How long will it test?

Nurse              Only a few minutes.

                        Okay we are ready to start now.

                        Please still and relax.

Patient           All right.

Nurse             Okey. It is finished now.
