แม้สภาพอากาศจะไม่เป็นใจ

แต่สภาพ “ความห่วงใย” ชัดเจน …"

Yes It’s a bright smiley outlook that ought to cheer us up.

But seriously I advocate more graphic details in official forecast from tmd.go.th – I am asking for ‘critical weather’ to be given clear ‘intensity, location and time’ as best as tmd can do. And that warnings be given out to people –social media, sms text, radio, tv, … not just put on the board for people to come and see.

Weather is an important life factor now and more so tomorrows. Both the people and tmd must raise their levels on the weather events.

There is an example in a newspaper. Look at the second picture in ฝนตกกระจาย 12 เขตในกทม. ‘ประเวศ’ ปริมาณสูงสุด 44.0 มม. 23 กรกฎาคม 2566 https://www.thaipost.net/general-news/418799/

• what’s missing? Time and motion. Why? Weather always changes.
• A gif motion picture with time stamps would be much more informative.

Let’s have a look at tmd (กรมอุตุนิยมวิทยา ) website:
https://tmd.go.th/ > เรดาร์ตรวจอากาศ < https://weather.tmd.go.th/ > or แผนที่อากาศ < https://tmd.go.th/supportData/synopticCharts > –showing historical data – not useful for emergency or rescue planning.

We need more informative weather “forecast” for the future time in mitigating life and property losses. And I believe tmd (กรมอุตุนิยมวิทยา) is capable of to meet this need.
