แต่งงาน Marry / Married/ Wedding/ Marriage
Marry เป็นกริยาหมายถึง
แต่งงาน เช่น
Will you marry me? (คุณจะแต่งงานกับผมไหม)
married เป็นคำคุณศัพท์ หรือ Adjective ใช้อธิบายสภาพสมรส
เช่น I’m married. (ฉันแต่งงานแล้ว)
หรือ I got married. (ฉันได้แต่งงาน … ซึ่งความหมายแฝงคือ เพิ่งจะแต่งงาน)
If my husband doesn’t come with me, then I’m not married. (หากไม่เห้นสามีเดี๊ยนก้อแปลว่าเดี๊ยนโสดฮ่ะ)
marriage ซึ่งหมายถึง การสมรส ภาวะที่แต่งงานกัน เช่น
Their marriage life has gone very well. They have got five children in four years.
wedding หมายถึงพิธีแต่งงาน ของที่ใช้ในงานแต่งงาน
- Look at her wedding ring! How much does it cost the bridegroom?
- The price of a set of wedding photo is 50000 baht. I would rather buy a laptop computer with that money!
