ให้สรรพนาม ANYBODY – ANYONE
มีรูป Singular ใช้ กริยา singular เช่น
“Is anyone going with me?
“Anybody is welcome to come.”
ในความหมาย “ANY PERSON” สองคำนี้ ใช้ สลับที่ กันได้
แต่ผู้พูด/เขียน เป็น ทางการ เลือก ANYONE มากกว่า Anybody
อาจเป็น เพราะเสียง หรือ รูปร่าง ของคำ
การเขียน ต้องสะกด ANYONE เป็น คำเดียว
เว้นแต่ เมื่อต้องการ จัดแยก บุคคล/สิ่งของ เฉพาะเป็น รายๆ เช่น
“He saw three plays that week and did not enjoy any one of them.”
และควร สะกด ANYBODY เป็นคำเดียว เช่นกัน
เว้นแต่ เมื่อต้องการอ้างถึง ‘an actual body’ เช่น
“A homicide was thought to have been committed, but the police could not discover any body.”

อธิบาย เขียน “anybody” เป็นคำเดียว เสมอ เมื่อเป็น “สรรพนาม” เช่น
