A few more pictures around our house taken before cyclone Marcia (มาชา; don't ask me why marcia is read like maa-chaa; I don't know why English words are read as they are for examples: war วอ [not วา; but bar บาร์ not บอร์], women วีมืน, one วัน [not โอน but bone โบน not บัน, ...). We did not suffer significant damage from Marcia - only broken branches and fallen dead trees and perhaps airbourne seeds carried by winds from other places. We benefited from 170 mm of rains (watered our land and plants, filled our dams, cleaned out dirts and air particles).
As we can see that "green" is our preferred theme colour. Gum trees and wattles are in the background everywhere. What we can't see in the pictures are wildlife (insects, lizards, birds, frogs, snakes, kangaroos, and cars ;-)
In case you wonder, we do cut/mow grass. But only in selected areas. A lot of grasses? Yes. Over 90 acres covered with some 60 varieties/kinds of grasses (natives and introduced). We also have some 10,000 of 500 kinds of trees (natives and introduced) growing/living with thousands of wildlife and us. Our nearest human neighbours are at least 300 metres away (a little too far to shout or talk ;-).
At home among the gum trees will continue.
Is that in Thailand or other country? it's cool!, I see all pics it reflects you like the Nature and depend on forest for the rest. I like as you as do. I want to see the shadow of the trees and sit at there for reading or writing. All of pics tell us that we are small beings that live in the world.

Hi ส.รตนภักดิ์ : I am living in a rural area in Queensland, Australia (at the present time). The pictures are of gardens around the house. Yes, cool shades under trees are really pleasant. (I think of the Buddha sitting in jhaana (meditation) under a common (saala) tree. He had abandoned life in palace. But 2500+ years later people are putting Buddhas back in palaces.)
Dear Dr. Ple : Living with trees does have advantages of fresh clean air richer in Oxygen and calming green colour (should I say 'umpteen shades of green'? ;-)
Many thanks for the pictures and descriptions. They remind me of the unique wild flowers and native plants in Australia. I love the nature there so much.

We had draughts, bushfires, floods, a caterpillar plague, a dust storm, an electrical storm, rats and mice problems, snakes, spiders, lizards, birds, ants and termites problems, molds and rust attacks (on house and plants), and many other domestic utility issues (electricity supply, telephone cable, water supply, oil spills,...),... enough to say that life in the bush is never boring.
There are always ups and downs especially when we least expect them. We just smile, keep cool and prod on ;-)
