"The Survival Idea of the Coconut"
The world has many places for living thing born, one of them the island which a coconut can root and reproduce its offspring permanently. The suitable place, island, when the fruit of it fallen down the land and in the water it can live and root any place amazingly. It can disperse and expand widely over the places and islands, including Thailand, Ko-samui. The original name comes from Spanish “co co” means monkey, it is seen at first in India.
It had specially planed in its offspring that is a guarantee for survival and growth every where. Its trunk is firmly and the root does not have a taproot but it can resist the gravity and storm acutely. All of it can be both food, medicine and others for man. Somewhere you may see a part of it in your house, market and public places. As long as we live it still deals with us since birth to die forever. The physical characters of coconut are high trunk, no branch, no key root and fruits. In some village where had been established for long time we will see the coconut as a sign of old things.
It may be about one hundred years. Because that it must spend many years for growth till it will give the fruit. It is a remarkable tree especially when it is breezed lightly on the top of it. It will follow as the storm back and forth. When we are close to it we will see its high, long and round trunk about 50 – 100 metres each. On above it has many fruits that have both dry and fresh and they are inside full of purest water and pulp. With its height then we must have labored for getting it, we often see a monkey climbs up fluently it. This is a physical figure of it but it still has other characters which we do not know inside it that I will elucidate clearly.
When we see a coconut tree we will feel familiar with it, things that we really want is a fruit. We do not look inside it curiously and do not seek for the reality. I see things from it such as, survival, planning, benefits and ideas. The survival of it begins at planning in its fruit perfectly. It can go to the land and water without dangers. The inner of it consists of thick peer and hard shell. The inmost core consists of coconut meat and water that both are nutrient for it roots and grows up. It is providence or arrangement for long journey.
The planning is important and a law of survival guarantee of it. So it begins in first time when it lives in the island. The stability and security of the place and standing point are the most important. The reason of no having taproot because that it is with water so it is no need the taproot searching the water. But it has many rootlets in order to find food and hold the ground stably. The benefits of coconut begin at the root that can be medicine. The trunk can be built a house, chair and bed. The leaves can be made a broom, wickerwork, decoration and others. The inflorescence, a gardener will cut it for making fresh sugar water and its fruit can be used for various advantages, for example, cocomilk, pure water for relieving thirsty.
The peer or coir can be made fertilizer and hard-shells can be applied decorations and containers. And its top is taken the most delicious food as coconut top curry. The last one, ideas from coconut, the idea for men‘s thinking, how does it know in survival and have a perfect plan for its offspring? From original offspring it still is the same offspring up to now. It may learn from time to time and know a suitable way for living. Its trunk is regarded that it challenges the world’s gravity and windstorm every much. It can survive in hardest seasons, flood and fire.
Ideas come from the coconut can explain as following cases; it can help oneself completely since it has provided wisely for its offspring. That means it loves all offspring fairly. It is not fear to all obstacles and it grows up bravely to drawing of the world. The tall trunk is in order to protect its fruit and it has hardly without an enemy. The pure water is brought to wash the body before the funeral as Ganges River. I see it as man’s mind that contains food, water and germ of living thing. Finally, it reflects to a man who has to depend on plants for survival.

อ่านเพลินและได้สาระ ประโยชน์ของมะพร้าวนอกจากจะช่วยให้สิ่งมีชีวิตสามารถมีชีวิตได้อย่างมีความสุข
ไม่ต้องพูดถึงด้านเศรษฐกิจเพราะตอนี้แพงมาก..มากที่สุด
แต่สิ่งที่ลึกล้ำคือมะพร้าวสอนสังคมและการดำรงสืบเผ่าพันธุ์ที่ดี
การเลี้ยงดูบุตรหลานและวัฒนธรรมความเป็นอยู่ที่เป็นธรรมชาติเท่านั้นจึงจะสามารถขยายเผ่าพันธุ์ได้โดยไม่สูญเสีย
การปรับตัวเพื่อความอยู่รอดของมะพร้าวก็ไม่ทำให้สังคมพืชล้มเหลว
ต่างกับสังคมมนุษย์ที่หนีความจริงแห่งจิตใจ และละเลยการระลึกรู้ลมหายใจของตนเอง
ไม่เชื่อและไม่นำพาต่อการกระทำของตนเองว่าจะมีผลต่อสังคมที่ตนอยู่หรือไม่อย่างไร
