The Sick For Seeking The Truth

Life consists of material elements, soil, water, air and fire. They are a basic group for being things are created. The four elements are in the world that are the raw nature we can see prevailingly and they must support living things. Life depends on them as body, food, house and medicine. They, four elements, are not pure completely but they have different quality and can impact us our bodies as well. The world is not always safe, it can give us toxin or give us the danger. While they conflict inside each other, for example, water conflicts against fire, some supports each other.

However, they can harmony and working together impressively. In system of our body is an example, at first it remains good work and then when we get old it starts weak and gets sick. When we were born in this world we must eat food which it comes from the world. The world gives all things both good and bad. The good thing, fine food, is eaten by us then we will grow up, meanwhile we will be old too. Moreover, if we eat some food that is toxin or the poisonous substances our bodies will get sick. It likes a saying that “we are what we eat”.

Obviously, now all of people are suffering due to diseases, heart, diabetes, fat, gout, cancer. The food is a source of toxin because that the gardeners plant things with toxin injection. While the lifestyle of people who are in the big city like going out eating any shop or a diner. They may receive the toxin into their bodies too. The water is an important for our bodies but in the present time, the drinking water is packed in different bottles. Some is an energy drink or aerated water. Some is full of colorful waters that they attract children noticeable. Other one is a kind of an alcohol or dink and intoxicating beverages. Air and surroundings are around us they cause us our bodies get sick immediately.

In the big cities which there are traffic jams, the cars let carbon dioxide to the air. When men inhale it into the lung and it will become a lung cancer. Including to an environment is bad atmosphere which causes all plants, animals and men have been damaged too. Moreover, we have to get the result of our actions. Activities that we have acted and have done some impact will come back to our bodies as well. Because things and works we have done they deal with that doer too. For example, a man drives a car going anywhere during the way it may be accident.

In this case he cannot escape because that he takes the body moving on and it may have many cases will be. A motorcycle rider is cut his legs because his motorcycle or his drinking. All above, it occurs because that we have the body and action in this world. We cannot reject its result so we must permit as we are the creatures. In the world view, we will see the absolute truth and comprehend about whole life and an entire world.

In Buddhist aspect views that life is full of chances to solve problems. P.A. Prayutto, the Buddhist scholar monk, says “we should turn the crisis to be a chance”. While Buddhadasa, famous scholar monk, said “sick in three months can write a book” means that he had written a book during he had got sick. We may hear someone wants to die since that he or she gets sick. Life is always open to encounter all bad situations the next day. But the owner of life does not like or want to live any more. Many people get sick or ill turn it to be a way of understanding an existence, life.

According to the Buddhist concept, the sick is a good chance to seek the truth in our bodies. The truth is hided in a body that is alive, the knower is mind. The mind is the knower, the enlightened and the delighted one. The disease or bad thing it comes and goes but the result of its phenomena is realization the structure of life and the world including this existence absolutely. Don’t reject or accept it suddenly but follow it with deeply penetrating. This is your chance coming to know that who are you? What is there in yours?
