กทม.เล็งนำแคมเปญ "ตาวิเศษ" กลับมาใช้รณรงค์ให้ประชาชนทิ้งขยะเป็นที่เป็นทางอีกครั้งหลังห่างหายไปหลายปี คาดได้ผลเนื่องจากเป็นที่รู้จักดีของทุกคน เผยคนกรุงสร้างขยะถึงวันละ 1.2 หมื่นตัน ...กทม.เป็นเมืองหลวงของประเทศที่มีประชากรอาศัยอยู่เป็นจำนวนมาก ทำให้มีจำนวนขยะมากถึงร้อยละ 25 ของประเทศ ...กทม.ยังมีโครงการที่จะนำเอาขยะมาผลิตเป็นพลังงานไว้ใช้ในโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม และผลิตเป็นแก๊สเพื่อใช้เป็นเชื้อเพลิง รวมทั้งผลิตเป็นกระแสไฟฟ้าโดยผ่านการหมักแบบอาร์ดีเอฟ ซึ่งสิ่งเหล่านี้ช่วยลดการกำจัดขยะด้วยการฝังกลบได้ ทั้งนี้ กทม.จะใช้การเผาขยะเป็นการนำร่อง โดยการเผาให้ได้วันละ 300 ตัน นำไปผลิตแก๊ส 300 ตัน และนำไปผลิตกระแสไฟฟ้าอีก 300 ตัน เพื่อทดสอบว่าวิธีใดเหมาะสมและสอดคล้องกับสภาพแวดล้อมของกรุงเทพฯ มากที่สุด นอกจากนี้ กทม.ยังมีแนวคิดส่งเสริมให้ประชาชนคัดแยกขยะและทิ้งขยะในที่ที่...

We can work out from above report and note that Thailand produce nearly 50,000 tons of home wastes every day. The pilot project about to start in Bangkok looks at processing 900 tons of wastes (less than 1% of BKK wastes) each day. The rest of wastes will be dosposed of by burying (land-filling). Recycle so far has not made signifigant results in waste reduction due to complexity of material separation. ...
What can we do with 49,000 tons of home waste we throw away every day? This is another challenge for 21C!
For those in schools and hospitals, can we process the waste produced within the schools and hospitals -- safely--?

การนำเอาขยะมาผลิตเป็นพลังงาน....ไว้ใช้ในโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม และผลิตเป็นแก๊ส....เพื่อใช้เป็นเชื้อเพลิง รวมทั้งผลิตเป็นกระแสไฟฟ้าโดยผ่านการหมักแบบอาร์ดีเอฟ (RDF) .... เกิดประโยชน์มาก จริงๆ ค่ะ
