         วันนี้ผมได้รับเกียรติให้เป็นองค์ปาฐกในหัวข้อ "ศิลปวัฒนธรรมกับอาเซียน" ในการประชุมนานชาติ "International Conference of Art and Culture on Creative Economy" ซึ่งเป็นงานที่จัดร่วมกันระหว่าง มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม, มหาวิทยาลัยสุโขทัยธรรมาธิราช,มหาวิทยาลัยขอนเเก่น, มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏรำไพพรรณี และ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏพระนคร ผู้เข้าร่วมสัมมนาเป้นนักวิชาการที่จากหลายประเทศ เช่น ศรีลังกา กัมพูชา ฟิลิปปินส์ และ ออสเตรเลีย

Rectors of 5 Universities,

Distinguished participants from overseas and from Thailand,

Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

            -First of all, let me congratulate the organizers for this important international conference on Art and Culture on Creative Economy.

            -Thank you very much for inviting me to be your keynote speaker.

            -Welcome all friends from overseas.

            -After my speech, will be a panel of experts from Australia, Philippines and Sri Lanka followed by afternoon of Research and academic presentations.

            -The time of International Conference is so crucial because only less than 3 year 2015 is the full ASEAN Community implementation

            -which all of you know that there are 3 important pillars

                        - Economy

                        - Social and culture

                        - Security Issues

            In Thailand- a lot of discussion on the importance of ASEAN Economic

-how to increase competitiveness

-how to cooperate in the economic areas including investment and flow of professionals

-Therefore, your conference is very timely because it deals with social and cultural aspect of ASEAN and the link to Creative Economy and it is so important of the link economy and security pillars to social and culture mainly for 3 reasons.

- Art and culture can contribute of the Creative Economy of our 10 nations and beyond according to UNCTAD, we cannot rely on natural resource and financial resource only, we have to rely on Creative Economy to improve our economy.

- To me, the importance of Creative Economy is Human Capital which the most important aspect of Human Capital is Cultural Capital.

- ASEAN is so rich in Cultural Capital but we must try to turn Cultural Capital to my Theory of 3V

-Value Added

-Value Creation

-Value Diversity

            -In a meeting like this, please cooperate in the field of art and culture to have value creation and with so diverse cultures you can create Value Diversity

            -Because most of you are art and culture experts-the only suggestions to you is to explore art and culture to economic sectors in each country such as tourism, flood, printing, entertainment spa, agriculture, sports, medical service to have an input of art and culture into these sectors to enhance the value of each sector to increase economic performance and lead to sustainability.

            -A network of academic people in this room is first step-you here to enlarge network to include other players-business especially SMEs, Government Ministries especially industry, commerce and finance, health and agriculture.

-Finally, the Cultural Capital and Creative Economy with ASEAN cannot create the 3V without management, leadership and entrepreneurial skills

            -Marketing, finance, IT, human resource will lead to value chain and Creative Economy will work together.

In conclusion

            -ASEAN 10 countries+6+others rich in art and culture.

            -2015- Open doors for further cooperation in art and culture towards Value Creation society to deal with enlarged global system.

            -Academic people like you must open your mindset to explore opportunities and crucial dangers. Is there anything myself and my Foundation can work with all of you please let me know.
