คิดถึงบทกลอนนี้ที่แปลเอาไว้เมื่อ 4 ปีก่อน และคิดว่าเป็นอมตะ และโลกเรายังคงต้องการความรักแบบนี้มากขึ้นทุกวัน ขอนำกลับมาเผยแพร่ซ้ำอีกครั้งในวันแห่งความรักค่ะ

a strong ethical basis as a way of life.
เราต้องสร้างมาตรฐานคุณธรรมที่มั่นคงในการดำรงชีวิต

other than our own little fantasies.

We who inherit the earth

who cheer the new moon peaking through the womb
ผู้ซึ่งคอยต้อนรับพระจันทร์ที่ผันเปลี่ยน
who admire the green leaves of summer turning to lustrous reds and yellows
ผู้ซึ่งชื่นชมไม้ใบเขียวแห่งหน้าร้อนแปรเปลี่ยนไปเป็นสีแดงและเหลืองอันสดใส
who watch them fall to the ground cold, brown and stiff...

We who give birth to new life

We who have a passing mark on the future of the world

       หัวใจต้องการความเท่าเทียมแต่เราก็ยังพยายามจะควบคุมครอบงำกันและกัน
The heart wants peace yet we fight
       หัวใจต้องการสันติภาพแต่เราก็ยังมีการต่อสู้กัน
The heart wants to give yet we are greedy
       หัวใจต้องการที่จะให้แต่เราก็ยังมีความโลภ
The heart wants to help yet we destroy
       หัวใจต้องการที่จะเกื้อกูลแต่เราก็ยังทำลายล้างกัน
The heart wants to care yet we are insensitive
       หัวใจต้องการที่จะเอาใจใส่ดูแลแต่เราก็ยังมีความไม่ใส่ใจ
If only the heart were a little stronger
ถ้าเพียงแต่หัวใจจะเข้มแข็งขึ้นอีกสักนิด...

เรารู้ดีกว่าว่าหญิงทุกคนคือหนึ่งเดียวกัน

        ฉันเป็นผู้หญิงเช่นเดียวกับคุณ

        ฉันเป็นแม่เฉกเช่นที่คุณเป็น
I am a worker like you are
        ฉันเป็นคนทำงานเหมือนที่คุณเป็น

        ฉันเป็นสุดที่รักเหมือนคุณเช่นกัน
Yet because you live there and I live here
or because your appearance or lifestyle is different from mine
