True EDU problem in TH today is NOT students but from bad teachers indeed..

Education Problems.

 

2 years ago, it has bad report found that average score of MS students is 31.7%

Today, I got report that average score of MS students is 48.7%

 

I take a look on the test myself and see that students answer questions correctly.

For example, the test ask “What is e.u. ?”

Student gave an excllent answer:

“4 chickens in the same cage with same fixed effects are called 1 e.u.”

Which is completely correct.

But bad teacher gave her 2/5

Bad teacher may want bad answer from farang that gave 1 eu definition below:

'the smallest experimental material receiving a single treatment'

IMO: those farang definition is LAME and did not making good underatanding to students as that student answer.

 

If full score is 5 that student should get score 10 based on her own excellent understanding.

 

The level to pass the test is set 75% and all students are failed.

If that bad teacher exist, how many times students took her exam will always failed and she will never pass her MS degree.

 

Today I did talk this seriously to my head department.

He agree and said his student also got only 38% score only.

 

Last time that I am one of the committee, it has bad teacher to set bad question to students: “What is a different between SAS and SPSS?”

Student gave correctly excellent answer:

They are the same.

And bad teacher let that student failed.

Because the bad teacher has wrong understanding that SAS is for science research and SPSS are for social science.

I did said to the interviewer that student did gave right answer but bad teacher still stubborn to kill student by let them to fail.

GOOD TEACHER

 

It do exist good teacher.

Yesterday, a very good teacher come in to teach PhD students.

It has 3 hours lecture and she did teach full 3 hours with full of knowledge and practice at the same time.

She know the fact that no TH students today will do their home work.

All of them will simply ask for .ppt and copy it.

So, in her class, she did gave not only an excellent teaching but force students to do their home work in class.

After that, she discuss to students one by one about their answer.

 

The best thing is she said at the end “NO EXAM”

Because all students already got full score from their own practice in class.

 

YES.

GOOD TEACHER did exist.

But only one of bad teacher exist above did eliminated all good teacher to be seen.
