Jatuporn Prompan, (the head..), demanded the monarch step in after troops started live firing on protesters.

"I believe Thais will feel the same, that His Majesty is our only hope," he said. "As people in this country, we would like his kindness."

King Bhumibol, who celebrated 60 years on the throne earlier this month, is undergoing treatment for a lung complaint at the Siriraj Hospital, across the Chao Phraya river from the demonstrations paralysing the city.

จริงๆแล้วก่อนที่จะมาถึงจุดนี้ ผู้นำน่าจะสลายการชุมนุมเพื่อความปลอดภัยของผู้ตาม รวมทั้งห้ามปรามผู้ตามที่รบกวนสิทธิของประชาชนในบริเวณนั้น ห้ามการทำลายล้างสร้างความเสียหายกับกรุงเทพมหานคร

ทุกครั้งที่นำประชุมควรคิดสิ่งเหล่านี้
