Shopkeeper    Yes, madam. How many would you like

                     We have packets of 25 or 50.

Mrs Shenton    Oh, a packet of 50, please. And have you got

                     any writing paper?

Shopkeeper     Yes, there you are.

Mrs Shenton    And could I have some of those letters that you fold.

                     The ones that do not need an envelops.

                     Have you got them?

Shopkeeper     You mean air letter sheets?

Mrs Shenton    Yes, that’s right. Air letter sheets. Then air letter 

                     sheets, please.

 

At the grocer’s

Mrs Shenton        Have you got any fresh meat?

Grocer                Yes, how much would you like?

Mrs Shenton        I’ll have a kilo and a half, please.

Grocer                Anything else?

Mrs Shenton        Yes, could I have two dozen eggs, a loaf of bread

                         and some cooking oil?  And have you got any fruit?

Grocer                Yes, I’ve got bananas, oranges and apples.

Mrs shenton         I’ll have half a dozen oranges, please. Oh, and

                         have you got any fresh cakes?

Grocer                I’m sorry, I haven’t got any today.
