 วารสาร Walailak Journal of Science and Technology   เป็นวารสารที่นำเสนอผลงานวิจัยทางด้านมด้านวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี  ซึ่งประกอบด้วย  บทความวิจัย   รายงานผลการทดลอง  บทความประเภทประมวลผลงานวิจัยจากแหล่งต่าง ๆ ซึ่งผลงานแต่ละเรื่องจะได้รับการตรวจสอบความถูกต้องทางวิชาการ(peer review)โดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิในสาขานั้น 2 หรือ 3 ท่านและได้รับการตรวจแก้ไขภาษาอังกฤษและจัดพิมพ์ในรูปแบบที่ได้มาตรฐานสากล

            วารสาร Walailak Journal of Science and Technology (Walailak J Sci & Tech) เป็นวารสารตีพิมพ์บทความด้านวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี ตีพิมพ์  ปัจจุบันวารสาร WJST มี รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.เดวิด เจมส์ ฮาร์ดิง เป็นบรรณาธิการ วารสาร WJST เป็นที่ยอมรับในแวดวงวิชาการทั้งระดับชาติและนานาชาติ โดยโครงการปริญญาเอกกาญจนาภิเษก (คปก.) สำนักงานกองทุนสนับสนุนการวิจัย (สกว.) ได้รับรองให้วารสาร WJST เป็นวารสารวิชาการระดับชาติกลุ่มสาขาวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี ในเดือนตุลาคม 2010 ที่ผ่านมา และมีค่า TCI Impact Factor 2010 = 0.077  โดยวารสาร WJST เปิดรับการตีพิมพ์ 3 ลักษณะได้แก่ Original Articles (Full Papers), Short Communications, Minireviews

            บทความทั้ง 3 รูปแบบต้องเขียนเป็นภาษาอังกฤษและจัดต้นฉบับตามรูปแบบของวารสาร WJST โดยรายละเอียดของรูปแบบสามารถดูได้จาก Notes for Authors ในเว็บไซต์ของวารสาร WJST (http://wjst.wu.ac.th) การส่งต้นฉบับสามารถทำได้ 3 วิธี คือ
