"หลายคนถามมาว่าเราจะอธิบายให้ชาวต่างชาติเข้าใจได้อย่างไรว่าเรารักในหลวงเพราะอะไร ลองตอบด้วยการพูดถึงพระราชกรณียกิจของพระองค์และโครงการต่าง ๆ ที่พระองค์ทรงทำให้ประเทศชาตินะครับ เช่น

We love our King because he dedicated his life to his people. His Majesty initiated thousands of development projects that were aimed at improving the living conditions of his people. These Royal Developments Projects targeted different sectors of the economy including agriculture, the environment, public health, occupational promotion, water resources, communications, public welfare, and more. King Bhumibol traveled around Thailand in order to meet his people and implement these projects for the betterment of the country. This is why Thais love their King so much and view him as a father figure."
