I'm glad you brought this topic up and I am taking a stab at this. By no means, I am not an expert, but I tend to think that history repeats itself;

• สถานการณ์ในปัจจุบันนี้ ต่างกับสมัยเปลี่ยนแปลงการปกครองหรือไม่ อย่างไร
• It seems "modernization" for the sake of the country and the people were the reasons that คณะราษฎร์ cited for a fundamental change in governing. With the previously ousted administration, the same "propoganda" seems to be used for the same reason?
• บทเรียนที่ผ่านมา 75 ปี "ประชาธิปไตย" ทำให้เราเรียนรู้อะไรบ้าง
• The lesson? We are young .. in "ประชาธิปไตย" term .. heart ache and head ache is what we're getting into. But I can't see we're going back to the way we were. This "democrazy" is what we need, it's growing pain we are going through.
• มีกลุ่มบุคคลใดที่มีอุดมคติที่จะทำงานเพื่อคนส่วนรวม โดยที่แรงจูงใจไม่ใช่อำนาจการปกครองหรือไม่
• I am sure there are such a group of selfless people. Some of them might get corrupted on the way to power, and some of them might survive the tempation and somehow get the job done. The key thing, IMHO, is don't let them stay for too long .. term limitation is needed.
• การบริหารประเทศชาติเป็นระบบที่ซับซ้อนเกินกว่าคนคนเดียวจะเข้าใจและจัดการทั้งหมด ทีมงานที่อาสาสมัครเข้ามารับใช้ประชาชน มีความพร้อม ความเข้าใจเพียงใด แต่ละทีม แต่ละคน มีแรงจูงใจอย่างไร
• It's work .. with a job description... everyone has his/her own agenda and motivation .. It's a balancing thing ..and certainly not perfect...
• ในภาวะที่มีปัญหาร้ายแรง ความคาดหวังที่จะมีผู้วิเศษมาปัดเป่าแก้ไขบรรเทาปัญหาให้จบสิ้น เป็นสัมมาทิฏฐิหรือ; ถ้าใช่ จะต้องใช้ผู้วิเศษกี่คน
• The expectation that there will be a knight in a white horse to help rescue the country is ,IMHO, not สัมมาทิฏฐิ. Things could go both ways - instead of a knight, it could be a Devil Drives Porsche who came to the scene and make things better/worse ... it's all in the eye of the Thai voter.
