It’s not often to see candid expressions on the goals of education in Thailand. Especially, from a high plateau in education landscape. I support coaching for low ability schools to be able to achieve good results for children.
Perhaps, we should learn more about Goodhart’s Law (eg. The Sin of Taking the Measure To Be the Goal. https://www.gotoknow.org/posts/713359 ) to set the goals.
Goals and Measures for Education may focus on so-called **standards**, but ignore **[dis]abilities** among *children and schools*. And there are several (other than physical and mental) facades of [dis]abilities that can strongly impact outcomes of education. Earnest efforts to match individual attributes of abilitiesto *best practices* (*proven successful* ability-based solutions) would lay a foundation for management (of education programs) for years to come.
