So, it seems that we have a greater need to read [more, to understand and to verify the correctness of what AIs produce] and to write [more by ourselves, to reflect and to learn (or to make change in our own ability to process information)].

I think to write one needs to consider (and learn) many things: the need, the issue, the fact and data, the audience, the style (genre), the presentation and graphics (vocabulary, grammar, diagrams,…) and so on… I think the emphasis should be on learning to write rather than learning to use AI.
